Sightline Veterinary Imaging

Sightline Veterinary Imaging is a new teleradiology service, founded in 2018.  At Sightline Veterinary Imaging, our goal is not to become the biggest, fastest, or the least expensive teleradiology business on the market.   Our goal is reasonably simple. Its foundations include thorough review of your imaging studies, followed by generation of complete and detailed reports, resulting in relevant conclusions and pertinent recommendations.  It is our intent to maintain open lines of communication that build relationships with our referring hospitals and primary care veterinarians in an effort to provide the best support for you and the best care for your clients and patients that we are able provide.

Why Sightline Veterinary Imaging when there are established and well-known teleradiology groups available?

Sightline Veterinary Imaging believes in bringing the teleradiologist closer to the primary care providers by fostering open communication and an enhanced degree of personalized radiology services while providing thorough imaging reports for our clients.   It will never be our goal to become the biggest teleradiology service.  In the rapidly expanding world of teleradiology and the well-known shortage of radiologists, we are willing to sacrifice a higher caseload in favor of taking the time needed for thorough evaluation of your imaging studies to generate a complete imaging report with a higher level of personalized service.

What does Sightline Veterinary Imaging mean by "personalized" services.

Teleradiology is a lonely and impersonal service; you can’t see us and we can’t see you.  Images go out and a report comes back.  We are hopeful that your ability to reach us directly and in a timely manner will allow you to ask and receive answers to any questions you may have regarding the images or imaging report for your case.   We would like to think of ourselves as getting as close to “in-house” radiology services as we can be, yet doing so at a remote location.  In turn, this may also mean that you may receive a call from us, if we have further questions about your case that may help us with our interpretation, conclusions, or recommendations.  Fostering a close working relationship between your clinic and the radiologists at Sightline Veterinary Imaging is one of our goals.
